# From document to dashboard in minutes

## Why this matters
Most strategy documents die in folders — months of work, hundreds of pages, archived and
quietly gathering dust. Ciclo brings that work back to life, turning a static document into a
live strategy the whole team can act on, in minutes. And it preserves the client's **own words**
— they don't see a sanitised consultant version, they see *their* strategy, intact. That's the
difference between buying in and rolling their eyes.
## Turn a document into a live strategy
On the **Strategy** page, choose **Upload** and drop in the client's strategy — a board
paper, a plan PDF, or a slide deck exported as a document. The AI reads it and extracts the
vision, goals, and competitive context. No template to fill in, no reformatting. (Full

The client's strategic goals are now structured in the system — in their own framing,
navigable, editable, and ready to connect to execution.
The [Roadmap](/features/roadmap) is populated with initiatives pulled from the document, and
the [Performance page](/features/performance-kpis) shows initial KPIs identified from it — a
starting point you can refine, target, and connect to goals.
