Imagine handing a client a strategic recommendation backed by live market evidence, cited
sources, and findings tied directly to their own goals — in the first week of the engagement.
Deep Research combines the client’s internal strategy with real-time web research to produce
the kind of cited, professional-grade report that’s normally the output of a multi-day research
team. It’s the capability that changes the conversation from “here’s what I think” to “here’s
what the evidence shows.”
On the Reports page, open the Create menu and choose New Deep Research
Report — it’s a separate capability from standard executive reports, available to
consultant (partner) accounts working in a client organisation they manage. (See the
Deep Research feature page for the full reference.)

Configure the research
Choose the source report — an existing executive report, so the AI understands the
internal context — and add custom instructions, for example “Research competitive
dynamics in the Australian market for this sector.” The dialog also shows your
remaining monthly usage. The result speaks to the client’s situation, not a generic
template with their name pasted on top.

3
Watch it work
Select Generate Report and follow the live progress — a running percentage, the
number of sources analysed, and a narration of what the AI is doing as it reads,
filters for relevance, and builds a synthesis against the client’s priorities. This
typically takes a few minutes.

Review the cited report
The finished report has a clear narrative, strategic implications, and recommendations — all
anchored to the client’s own strategy. Every source is cited with a clickable link, so the
client can verify the research themselves.

Export or share
Download a professionally formatted PDF with citations included, or Share it with
stakeholders using the same role-based access as any report.
In a market where trust in AI is still being earned, citations are the feature that lets you
put your name on the work. A client clicking through to verify a source is a level of
transparency almost no consulting deliverable offers today.
